Treatment Offerings
Massage Therapy
Is the manipulation of the soft tissues of the body including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints. Massage therapy helps alleviate the soft tissue discomfort associated
with everyday and occupational stresses, muscular over-use and many chronic pain conditions.
Massage therapy can be beneficial to people of all ages and conditions and is
widely used to help obtain relief from many specific problems, including:
~ Inflammatory conditions such as arthritic & tendinitis
~ Stress relief associated with conditions ~ Headaches & Migraines
~ Muscle spasms, strains, sprains ~ Back pain ~ Repetitive strain injury
~ Circulation ~ Post-injury & post surgical rehabilitation

Cupping Therapy
Cupping therapy uses hard plastic or softer silicone therapeutic cups,
which creates suction to the skin and underlying tissues.
This type of therapy utilizes negative pressure, rather than tissue compression to
treat a variety of conditions.
The manual suction which cupping creates can loosen, lift, and effect fascia and other connective tissues like muscle, tendon and ligaments.
This can reduce and release areas of restrictions, rigid tissues and adhesion's, caused by chronic conditions such as tendinitis, chronic muscle tension, and even have effect on incisions from surgeries or scars and even build up of scar tissue.
Pre/Post Natal Massage
Pregnancy massage can help you cope with the changes to your body that occur while you are pregnant. It can be especially useful to ease discomfort at a time when you cannot use some medicines or some other medical options.
Pregnancy or prenatal massage is used to reduce stress, reduce swelling in the arms and legs and relieve muscle and joint pain in pregnant women. It can also improve mood, lower anxiety and help improve sleep.

Postpartum Rehabilitation
Your body goes through many changes through pregnancy and even more so during labour and birth. A lot of these changes affect posture, create muscles imbalances, weakness and in fact injury. All of which needs to be addressed with proper assessment and rehabilitation.
During this massage treatment session we dive deep into assessment to identify the areas where we need to focus, tailor an individual treatment plan and derive a comprehensive rehabilitation program.
Currently I offer this in-person 1 on 1.
In the spring group based programming and virtual will be available.
C-Section Scar Massage
Recovering from a C-section presents a new set of challenges for
postpartum mothers. You are recovering from major
abdominal surgery, after all.
Do you know that 7 layers of tissue are cut during a Cesarean section surgery!
In our session we apply scar massage techniques directly over the scar and indirectly over the surrounding areas.
Our goals will be the help reduce abnormal sensations (such as numbness, tingling, pain) and improve the mobility and appearance of the scar and surround tissues. I also teach you how to continue this treatment at home to get you the best possible results.

Infant/Child Massage
Infants and children can also have benefits from massage therapy
treatment much like adults.
4 key areas this treatment focuses on are Interaction, Relaxation,
Stimulation and Relief.
Some of our treatment benefits and goals are to reduce stress, help improve sleep quality, relieve digestive discomforts, relieves pain and tension.
These session are much shorter in treatment length and have a heavy focus on teaching parents or caregivers the techniques to continue treatment.
Fascial Abrasion Technique
** FAT TOOL **
Fascial Mobilization using the FAT-Tool specifically targets and loosens the fascia that surrounds and interconnects muscle tissue, that when tight, can restrict range of motion and impair quality of movement.
The Fascial Abrasion Technique Tool is much different than the many assisted soft tissue mobilization tools on the market. Unlike tools such as Graston, ASTYM, IASTYM, etc., that have a smooth surface, the FAT-Tool has a patented textured surface that allows for maximal tissue tension release without excessive pressure and without bruising. It is very effective for treating stubborn injuries such as plantar fascitis, achilles and patellar tendonosis, muscular sprains and ligament strains, lateral epicondylitis and adhesions from scars and old injuries.

MPS Scar Release Therapy (STR)
What is MPS Scar Release Therapy (SRT)?
Scar Release Therapy (SRT) is an innovative new therapy designed to reduce the negative effects Scars have on our bodies. SRT applies DC micro-current (Dolphin Neurostim-MPS) which penetrates deep into the body to release scar tissue and increase cellular metabolism, ATP and Protein Synthesis.
This non-invasive, painless treatment quickly softens scar tissue (reducing scar size) to provide incredible chronic pain throughout the body. (OGN – 82%, JCIAM 73%)
Why is MPS The Most Potent Scar Release?
In contrast, cellularly responsive DC micro-current therapy (MPS) is a more effective Scar Release by penetrating deeply into the dermis (and beyond) where the scar tissue originates. MPS physically changes the Scar tissue polarities to release deep adhesion's
and reduce physical scar size (23-73%).
Table Thai Massage
Table Thai Massage is a more modernized version of Traditional Thai Massage. Traditional Thai Massage was created 2500 years ago and the techniques remain as they were originally created.
Instead of using mats on the floor the techniques are all applied while you are lying on the table fully clothed.
Table Thai techniques include acupressure, reflexology, visceral manipulation and passive stretching. It is deeply relaxing!
